Boomranng are a Mumbai-based design studio with a shared love for Indian mythology, comics & world-wide cultures. Inspired by the art of storytelling through illustration, Boomranng craft maximalist scenes of everyday life & optimistic futures, combining rich textural elements with modern contemporary characters and colours, reflecting their design philosophy: retrofuturism- a celebration of the ideas for the future that we had in the past. Their visually extravagant style has attracted global clients including Nike, Starbucks & Coca-Cola.
Hannah Gillingham is a commercial illustrator and artist specialising in digital painting. She enjoys re-creating traditional painting techniques, merging this creative process with a the versatility of modern digital software.
Hannah enjoys painterly figurative work, with an ambition to expand her practice across a range of briefs and commercial outputs. Driven by creative ideas and storytelling, she loves exploring concepts, colour and composition to bring briefs to life in the most compelling way and capture the spirit of a story.
Over recent years she has worked with a wide range of clients including Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel, 20th Century Studios, Spotify, Adult Swim and Amazon Music.
