Mirage is a film dedicated to water and the scarcity of it. Mahboobeh has always been inspired by shadows, and in this experimental film she uses shadows to realistically recreate the movement of water.

Mahboobeh uses filmmaking to make sense of the world around her and reflect her inner thoughts and experiences, she believes the truth lies within the blending of animation and live action, creating whole worlds in seconds.
