Tasked with bringing summer dreams to life, KITCHEN worked with Analog Folk and Costa to create a comedic animated spot illustrating an adventure through the Italian countryside with classic KITCHEN humour. Experts at crafting witty and exciting characters, KITCHEN imbued the short film for social media with all the bright summer vibes, featuring a playful swordfish filling in as the narrator and a surfing nonna!
Excited by the creative freedom of the brief, KITCHEN had a whole world to create and interpret from the words of the interview in their classic fun-filled style, experimenting with typography to tie the scenes together.
"The most fun was listening to what the guy had to say and putting our spin on what was being said. when he talks about "a bit of nonna" what does that mean to us? obviously him and the nonna having a bit of a moment whilst making the "proper pizza". he then mentions "WE would go surfing" so obviously he means him and the nonna!"
