The Great Frog Vintage Market

KITCHEN crafted a magical adventure for The Great Frog to launch their vintage market collection. A capsule collection comprising of original designs from the 70's, the animation needed to reflect the design style with a retro feel and influences from television and comic books.

Crafting four individual worlds that epitomise the look and feel of the collection, KITCHEN dove into the world of The Great Frog to design a journey of epic proportions.

Designed in their classic irreverent style, KITCHEN crafted each scene and filled them to the brim with their instantly recognisable sense of humour and imaginative character design. Depicting iconic characters and motifs of 70's media such as wizards and lava lamps, as well as referencing the Carnaby Street roots of the brand, every sequence is deeply considered.

Engineering the animation to travel energetically between scenes, KITCHEN crafted each layer all at huge ratios to be able to experiment with camera angles dynamic lines of sight.

With a soundtrack from Yaaqov audio bringing the animation together, the film is an homage to the 70's style and endlessly cool vibes of The Great Frog.

"Great frog came to us with a great idea to tease their up coming drops by travelling to different worlds that encompass the vibe of the jewellery. We excitedly took this brief and ran with it through the front doors, clouds, mushrooms and (great) frogs on the shisha! We approached each world in a different way so they had their own feel but still felt all one."
