Chanel 'Jennie'

KITCHEN worked with acclaimed illustrator Jo Ratcliffe and Artistry for this fantastical film for French fashion house Chanel. KITCHEN directed and animated the fairy wings for brand muse Jennie Kim's imaginary best friend.

The film is a mixed media piece that illustrates the beauty in embracing all parts of your personality, even the messier ones. Jennie's alter ego is portrayed as a warrior fairy with beautiful fluttering wings that imbue the film with a mystical wonder. KITCHEN directed a team of animators and compositors to ensure the wings blended seamlessly with the live action footage and had life-like movements within the different environments.
