A self-initiated project, Tartarus is an enigmatic short film bringing to life the Greek myth in Clubcamping’s signature bold storytelling. Using this opportunity to expand and explore different approaches to their creative process, the film is a psychedelic trip and a love letter to craft.
Concept:
Fascinated by the myth of Tartarus, Clubcamping developed a cosmic narrative of rebirth and change. Born from a need to express their creative energy during lockdown, working with artist Juan Barabani to continuously develop the narrative and evolve their ideas, Tartarus was born.
‘Because Tartarus sees themselves as the owner of everything, as they despise everything. Their servants—Titans—are to impose this deity’s limitless will, with no guilt or shame. Without challenging it. It has been like this era after era, since the beginning of time. Until now, when primordial tears announce the end of the Eternal.’
